On November 6, 2020, SUSTech signed a Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation with Airbus China Innovation Center and Accenture (China) Co., Ltd. (Accenture) in the 3rd China International Import Expo.

Prof. Yi GONG (Electrical and Electronic Engineering), Lu SUN, Director of Airbus China Innovation Center, and Hong ZHU, Managing Director of Communications, Media and Technology Operating Group of Accenture Greater China, signed the memorandum.

Prof. Yi GONG said that SUSTech has always been striving to be an international high-level research university and the cooperation with Accenture and Airbus is of great significance. He expressed his hope that the three parties can carry out in-depth cooperation on technology transformation and promote the industry’s digital transformation.

According to the memorandum, SUSTech will develop technical solutions such as digital transformation and industrial Internet based on practical scenarios of Airbus’s aircraft manufacturing and logistics. The three parties will conduct industry-university innovative research to build a digital transformation demonstration project in high-tech aircraft manufacturing applications, including 5G, artificial intelligence, and machine vision. In this case, they can jointly promote the collaborative development of industry, university, and research in aircraft manufacturing and provide intelligent digital solutions for the world’s manufacturing sector.
