My research interest lies in developing new imaging techniques for applications in materials and biological science in both nano-scale and macro-scale. I’m particularly interested in computational imaging, i. e., replacing optical imaging hardware with sophisticated algorithms. I have invented a modulation-based coherent imaging technique (CMI), which is able to solve many issues of current coherent diffraction imaging - a lensless imaging technique that is under rapid development worldwide. Currently, I am trying to implement this technique with various kinds of coherent radiation sources.
2001-2004, PhD in Electronic Information Engineering, Gunma University, Japan
1995-1998, M. S. in Electric Engineering, North China Electric Power University
1990-1994, B. S. in Telecommunication Engineering, North China Electric Power Institute
2017-present, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, China
2011-2017, Senior Research Associate, London Centre for Nanotechnology, University College London
2007-2011, Research Associate The University of Sheffield, UK
2004-2007, Staff Scientist, Stuttgart University, Germany
