◇Electrically/optically controllable light shutters/smart windows

Generally, in a CLC cell, the P texture and FC texture can be obtained in different featured electrical conditions. At planar state, most of the incident light passes through the LC layer, realizing a high transmittance of smart window. At FC state, the LC layer highly scatters incident light and represents an optical dark state. We can use the electric field modulation to achieve shading changes.
