During this summer holiday, the two graduates in our group start their summer program at ITMO University in Russian. It is located in Saint Petersburg, the second biggest city in Russian. they went to this summer program and do their system design at ITMO University

In this program, they learn about the technology of optical system design in Russian style and try to use some tools to solve problems with their special method. Finally, they did a project of “design a system of telescope”. They performed well and got a praise in their presentation. What’s more, making friends with classmates from other country and feeling about different culture are memorable experience.

In summer, there is a period called White Night Festival. In Saint Petersburg, the Sun does not set until after 10 p.m., and the twilight lasts almost all night at that time, and the Palace Square becomes a stage for international stars of popular music.
